The Projects: You’ll be involved in overseeing safety across multiple concurrent construction projects throughout the Connacht region. These include large-scale residential schemes, public infrastructure, and commercial developments, offering a dynamic and varied workload ideal for a senior H&S professional looking to make a real impact.

The Role: Senior Health and Safety Officer Reporting to the Regional HSE Manager, you will have full oversight of H&S practices across several project sites. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring project-based Health and Safety Officers
• Coordinating site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews
• Managing and updating H&S systems, documentation, and procedures
• Conducting training sessions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
• Reviewing subcontractor RAMS and ensuring legal compliance
• Promoting a proactive, safety-first culture across all sites
• Investigating incidents and ensuring lessons learned are implemented
