About the role Join the Department as the Senior Health and Safety Operations Advisor (Corporate Office) and take a leading role in fostering a proactive health and safety culture across the organisation. You will lead the development and delivery of advisory services, build capability across teams, and implement strategies, frameworks, and programs that enhance workplace safety. The role involves engaging with senior stakeholders, providing expert guidance, and leveraging the incident management system and other Health and Safety Management tools. You will drive safety programs targeting key risks, partner with business and people services to deliver evidence-based solutions and analyse data to inform risk management. The role ensures consistent, effective safety measures, conducts audits and inspections, mentors staff and contractors, and develops compliant processes to continually improve safety performance, support teams, achieve business objectives, and minimise operational and financial risk.   What we are looking for (KSC)Success in this role relies on the ability to: Seeks opportunities to improve work processes, encourages innovation, and involves others in generating ideas. Develops team skills by providing coaching, feedback, and learning opportunities, and supports others to reach their potential.To access the Position Description, please click here Qualification and ExperienceMandatory Tertiary qualification in a relevant or related field Ability to travel and work across locations within metropolitan and regional Victoria as required.   Desirable Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41419) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) Experience in environmental health and safety risks Pre-employment checks and employment conditions Relevant pre-employment screening and reference checks will be required.
