Responsibilities

Lennox Lodge are looking for an experienced Senior Health Care Assistant to join our residential care home in Bexhill-on-Sea. The position is for 30 hours per week, to include morning shifts, afternoon shifts and every other weekend.
We pride ourselves on providing a safe, clean, comfortable home-from-home environment where we care responsively and effectively for each resident like a dearly-loved member of our own family.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a friendly disposition and a warm heart to join our friendly, professional team. You must be reliable, committed to helping others, and willing to find ways to make our residents’ lives comfortable, interesting and fun and person centred.

You will be required to:
· Lead shifts and organise the care team on a day to day basis.
· Provide support to the management team.
· Assist with performing audits.
· Provide personal care to each resident in accordance with their care plan.
· Liaise with relatives and other medical professionals.
· Work in a person centred way, ensuring residents retain their dignity and individuality at all times.
· Maintain a safe and secure environment for all residents, staff members and visitors.
· Assist the management team with the on call system to ensure staff on shift are supported at all times
