The Client:

g2 Recruitment are currently supporting a leading international wind turbine manufacturer on a number of utility-scale onshore wind farm projects across Germany.

We are seeking experienced HSE Advisors to oversee the safe erection, installation and commissioning of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), ensuring compliance with project-specific, client and regulatory HSE requirements throughout the construction phase.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading renewable energy business on a long-term project with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities:

• Promote and maintain a positive Health, Safety & Environmental culture across site.
• Monitor Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) erection activities, including tower, nacelle and blade installation.
• Conduct daily site inspections, audits and behavioural safety observations.
• Review and monitor Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Deliver toolbox talks and daily safety briefings.
• Oversee Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures.
• Ensure compliance with site rules, German HSE legislation and client requirements.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor activities.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses.
• Maintain HSE records, reports and project documentation.
• Participate in client meetings, site walks and safety reviews.
• Support emergency response planning and implementation.
• Monitor crane operations, lifting activities and work at height controls.
