Description

We are looking for dedicated and experienced senior carer to join the team at our Preston Glades Care Home. You’ll be an integral part of the home’s team and in line with our values. You will play a vital role in developing, planning, and delivering our quality, person-centred care and be responsible for overseeing the care team.
You will be working with a range of health professionals to support the individual resident in this part of their life – whatever that may look like and in line with our values. You enjoy being part of a team who value and celebrate each other’s expertise, and you share our passion for providing quality care with a focus on rehabilitation. We use technology across our homes to help free up time to care for our residents, develop our teams and our service and improve the quality-of-care All team members receive training in how to use the technology relevant to their role, but prior knowledge of core systems listed below is useful, although not a requirement:

  • Person centred software (PCS) for care planning.
  • RADAR for managing risks, events, safeguarding’s etc.
  • Camascope for medication management and administration.
  • Connecteam for accessing rotas, claiming shifts, and internal communication.

QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, equivalent qualification or willing to work towards this.
  • A current clear DBS and a willingness to undertake a new one for this role.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with regulatory requirements for quality and safety, meet CQC standards and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.

EXPERIENCE AND RIGHT TO WORK

  • Previous experience in a Senior Carer role.
  • Right to work in the UK.
