An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Senior Healthcare Assistant to work within the School Nursing Service across the SBUHB.
The Senior Healthcare Assistant will work within the Schools and the Community supporting the School Nurse and the School Nursing Team targeting school aged children.
The post is a Permanent position, working 28 hours per week over 4 days a week Monday to Friday.
The ability to travel between sites in a timely manner is essential.
The Senior Healthcare Assistant will work within the Schools and the Community supporting the School Nurse and the School Nursing Team targeting school aged children.
They will have experience of working with children and young people. They should have a caring and confident attitude and excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
They will have ability to follow procedures, maintain neat and legible records and contribute to reports and have good organisational skills.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
