This role matters. A unique opportunity has arisen to join our specialist Inpatient Ward team as a Senior Healthcare Assistant on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a special role, where you will support and implement the delivery of nursing care to patients under the direction of a registered professional in a clinical setting.
The Inpatient Ward provides care for patients and their loves ones so that they can hopefully feel well enough to go home again or stay with us for end-of-life care.
The St John’s Ward team are dedicated, skilled and experienced in caring for people with palliative and end of life care needs. You would be joining a professional and supportive team, who are committed to putting patients and their families at the heart of everything they do.
Key info: This position is to cover a period of maternity leave for a member of staff who works predominantly night shifts with occasional rotation onto day shifts. If you feel you could cover their shifts for the next 12 months we would love to hear from you.
