On behalf of our Healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Senior Healthcare Data/Information Architect for a 6 month contract role. This position is remote.

SENIOR HEALTHCARE DATA/INFORMATION ARCHITECT - JOB DESCRIPTION:

Seeking a highly experienced Senior Healthcare Data/Information Architect to participate in the development of a Common Semantic Data model as a core component for a new pan-Canadian health data standard. This initiative aims to enhance the interoperability of health information across Canada by developing standardized data models.

SENIOR HEALTHCARE DATA/INFORMATION ARCHITECT - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Extensive Information and Data architecture experience including standards, concepts, and methodologies
  • Extensive Logical Data Modelling experience
  • Extensive Semantic Modelling experience
  • Experience as a Senior Information/Data Architect on enterprise-wide transformative initiatives
  • Solid healthcare data standards knowledge (e.g., FHIR, HL7 CDA, ISO11179)
  • Solid experience with external stakeholder engagements
  • Experience with Data Modelling tools such as SPARX Enterprise Architect

SENIOR HEALTHCARE DATA/INFORMATION ARCHITECT – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Experience with formal modelling notations (e.g., UML, ER, OWL)
  • Experience leading the development of enterprise data models in the Healthcare space
  • Experience with business vision, strategy, and roadmaps
Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a collaborative team of senior data/information architects dedicated to the project
  • Develop and evolve the common semantic data model, ensuring semantic clarity and alignment with healthcare concepts
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, terminology specialists, and stakeholders to develop data architecture
  • Participate in reviews, governance processes, and versioning activities related to the data models
  • Provide expertise in abstract information design and navigate ambiguity in the healthcare system
  • Participate actively in metadata modelling and assess current health landscape for relevant information
  • Collaborate on defining standard architectural components like business glossary and data elements
  • Ensure interoperability, data consistency, and technological risks are addressed in data architecture deliverables
  • Document, communicate, and disseminate data architecture artifacts to multi-disciplinary audiences
  • Identify risks, raise them, and work with the project team to develop mitigation plans
