JOB SUMMARY:

As a Heavy Equipment Operator you will be responsible for the safe operation of various pieces of equipment (excavator, backhoe, skid steer) used in a variety of settings. Typical job duties will involve pre-operation inspections, daily maintenance of equipment and safe operation around vehicular and pedestrian traffic in tight situations whilst remaining productive.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid BC driver’s license required (not all sites are transit accessible)
• Minimum of 15 years experience in the civil construction sector (excavation, trenching, shoring)
• Must be safety orientated, self-motivated and work well with others
• Able to work under pressure and work long hours as required
• Must be reliable, dependable and punctual
