REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Finance/Economics or equivalent
• Experienced in China flows and demand
• Good knowledge of the China market and global procurement centres
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and oversee China Wheat Programs, mainly for wheat and corn imports into China.
• Responsible for wheat futures trading.
• Coordinate with China wheat demand planners and the Singapore team for any opportunistic trading.
• Collaborate with regional market research to gather demand data and other insights for optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with group subsidiaries to facilitate and coordinate the export of agricultural commodities to markets across the Asia-Pacific region.
• Assist the VP with document translation from English to Mandarin.
