Job Description AECOM is seeking a Senior Highway Project/Design Build Manager to be based in Salt Lake City, UT. Job Responsibilities Manages and leads a team of professionals, overseeing the design of large-complex projects. Manages design effort, design schedule, and budgets. Implements and oversees change and risk management processes throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinates client needs and develops/builds on relationships for future opportunities. Mentors, develops, and hires support staff to maintain a high-performing team. Monitors contract compliance and leads project dispute/resolution process. Leads and assists in the development of future design-build proposals. Builds and maintains relationships with project owners. Ensures compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations in highway design projects. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and construction managers, to optimize project outcomes. Conducts regular project status meetings and prepares comprehensive reports for stakeholders. Implements innovative design solutions to improve project efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Manages project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization. Develops and maintains project documentation, including design plans, specifications, and technical reports. Represents the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote AECOM's design-build capabilities. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred Qualifications: 20+ years of transportation project experience. Must possess UT state PE license or ability to obtain license within 6 months. Experience with Design Build delivery for final design. Design Build Project Experience. Experience leading and managing transportation design-build projects on large complex highway projects. Experience managing a large team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent Communication Skills and Ability to Lead Staff. Position will require frequent travel to project and client sites.
