Description
About the Role At MittLogik, we are partnering with a leading automotive OEM to accelerate the future of mobility. As software complexity increases, so does the need for robust, automated testing. We are looking for experts in dSPACE HIL and AutomationDesk to drive a critical initiative: shifting verification from the road to the lab. You will champion the transition to Virtual Testing (V3 & V4/5), ensuring faster software release cadences and higher quality for critical Chassis functions (Brakes, Traction, Steering). The Mission Your primary objective is to reduce dependency on vehicle-level testing by implementing efficient, automated strategies in a HIL environment. You will work closely with the Product Owner to safeguard software quality through rigorous closed-loop verification. Key Responsibilities Test Strategy & Automation: Identify and implement automation strategies using dSPACE AutomationDesk to achieve faster verification cycles. Test Development: Create Software Test Descriptions (SWTDs) based on Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) and review them with OEM representatives. Execution & Verification: Perform V3 and V4/5 HIL Closed-loop verification, including fault injection, diagnostics, and performance validation on sub-component HIL rigs. CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test scripts into the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline to support increased release cadence. Reporting: Analyze verification data to prove quality improvements and deliver comprehensive test architecture, scripts, and results. Knowledge Transfer: Secure feedback loops and hand over testing methodology knowledge to the wider team. Who You Are You are an experienced Embedded or Automotive engineer who thrives in the intersection of hardware and software. You have a "test-to-break" mindset and deep technical expertise in the dSPACE ecosystem. Must-Have Competencies HIL Expertise: Over 5 years of experience with dSPACE HIL simulators and the full toolchain is mandatory. Automation: specific proficiency in AutomationDesk for scripting and test execution. Domain Knowledge: Strong background in Vehicle Dynamics (specifically Brakes, Traction, and Steering systems). Coding: Proficient in Python for scripting and automation. Verification: Proven track record in HIL SW verification, fault tracing, and HIL/SIL system troubleshooting. Nice-to-Have (Merit): Experience with MATLAB/Simulink. Knowledge of automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE. Previous experience working with OEM software development and release processes. Why Join MittLogik? Work on cutting-edge automotive technology with major industry players. Opportunity to shape testing methodologies that directly impact vehicle safety and performance. We welcome applicants from around the world and support your relocation to the Nordics.
