About the role

Churches of Christ are currently looking for caring and reliable Senior Home Care Workers.

You will provide compassionate, client-centered care to individuals in their homes with everyday tasks, companionship, medication and social support as well as some office-based responsibilities.

There will be times when you’ll contribute to planning and coordination from our office. As a senior team member, you will also be available for on-call support as the need arises, ensuring that clients receive the highest standard of care when they need it most.

As a Senior Home Care Worker, you will:

• Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
• Assist with medications and personal cares
• Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping.
• Support clients with transport to appointments and community activities.
• Encourage independence and well-being in a home environment.
• Participate in the review of client care plans, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate
• Train and mentor Home Care Workers, including completing annual performance appraisals
