JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our hotel. This position is essential for ensuring a welcoming and pleasant environment for our guests and staff. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous but not mandatory.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role, particularly within the hospitality or hotel industry, is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly disposition towards guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines consistently.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Minimum hours 20, expected hours up to 40.
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
    Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including guest rooms, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials as required.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure efficiency.
  • Assist in the organisation of storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and staff, contributing to a hospitable environment.
  • Monitor incoming email enquiries and manage replies.
  • Be on call where necessary and reply to incoming guest calls and enquiries via work phone.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks at request of line manager.
