Overview Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for delivering high-quality, commercially focused HR solutions? We are seeking an experieced Senior HR Advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing expert HR advice and support to managers and employees within our Gallagher Re buisness. As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring HR best practices are implemented while delivering timely and professional HR support. You will work closely with the HR Business Partner to manage a wide range of HR activities, with a strong focus on employee relations. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide guidance on complex cases, including absence, disciplinaries, grievances, performance, and sickness, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies. You will also contribute to annual HR processes, such as performance management, pay reviews, and benefits administration, collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless outcomes. With a proactive approach, you will build strong relationships with stakeholders, coach and mentor line managers, and support the continuous improvement of HR services. How you'll make an impact Build effective relationships with managers, providing expert HR advice and coaching to enhance people management capabilities. Manage complex casework, including absence, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance issues, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation. Support performance management, pay reviews, and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives. Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery, covering for team members as needed and contributing to team projects. Produce reports and track casework using HR systems and tools, ensuring accurate and timely documentation. About You CIPD qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience. Experience of providing advice on conduct, grievance, capability, absence, and organisational change. Knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and best practices. Strong planning, organisational, and decision-making skills. Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and influence outcomes.
