An exciting new opportunity has arisen for you to join as a Senior HR advisor for a fix term - Maternity Cover. The role would cover both Poultry sites in Hull playing key role within Human Recourses team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR guidance and advice to our Supervisors and Managers covering all stages of the employee lifecycle
  • Reporting HR KPIs, identifying trends and proactively influencing these to improve upon targets (e.g. retention, absence, turnover)
  • Be part of site initiatives to improve upon employee engagement and communication
  • Support our passionate, hardworking HR team in our aim to attract, engage and retain the best people for our businesses
  • Manage the main flow of disciplinaries and grievances effectively and in a timely manner
  • Oversee, mentor and coach the HR Advisors and payroll team to ensure they are delivering effectively in their roles
  • Deputise for the HR Manager in their absence
  • Play an active and important part in the communication and engagement on site, including management training, works council and staff survey
  • Deal with the day-to-day HR queries in an effective and timely manner
  • Manage the occupational health provision for the site, liaising with H&S team, training and occupational nurse
  • Assist stakeholders with performance management processes, including appraisals, administration, and delivery
