SENIOR HR ADVISOR

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 per annum plus performance bonus
Location: Hybrid (Office and Remote) with some travel to school sites across Cornwall, Plymouth, and Tiverton

We are seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join our dynamic team, predominantly supporting schools and Delt employees, across Devon and Cornwall. Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role supporting our client group in delivering an exceptional HR service. You will provide expert guidance and support on employment and workforce matters, ensuring compliance with legislation and alignment with organisational goals. You will also engage in workforce planning, talent management, and employee relations to drive business objectives and foster a positive working culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide expert advice and support on all HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practices.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including management, trade unions, and staff representatives, to create a productive and engaged workforce.
  • Lead on workforce planning, identifying and addressing skills gaps to optimise talent.
  • Support line managers with absence management, performance reviews, and employee well-being initiatives.
  • Develop, review, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Ensure the integration and optimisation of HR systems and processes.
  • Work collaboratively on HR projects and contribute to cross-functional teams.
  • Travel to school sites and customer locations as required.
