SENIOR HR ADVISOR

As a result of our continued growth, Georgiou is seeking a dedicated Senior HR Advisor to join the recently awarded $1 billion Tonkin Extension Alliance project.
This hands-on, project-based role will partner with project leaders and teams to deliver high-quality HR support, ensure compliance with employment legislation, and foster a positive, high-performance culture across the Alliance. With a strong focus on project HR, IR/ER, and stakeholder management, you’ll work closely with leaders and employees to drive meaningful people outcomes. You will also provide leadership and guidance to 1 direct report within the project HR team

In this role, you will:

  • Provide professional HR advice and support to project leaders and teams, acting as a trusted partner across the project.
  • Coach managers on effective people management, performance development, and change processes.
  • Manage ER/IR casework, grievances, and performance issues with fairness, consistency, and compliance.
  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment handovers, and onboarding to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Advise on remuneration and benefits, including salary benchmarking and review processes.
  • Analyse HR metrics and insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Champion the use of HR systems to ensure smooth and timely processing of employment changes.
  • Drive workforce development, succession planning, and engagement initiatives that build capability and retention.
  • Partner with external training providers to deliver cost-effective, timely solutions that meet the project’s training needs.
  • Support compliance with legislative, client, and project requirements, including Government Training policies (e.g. Priority Start) and Sustainability reporting.
  • Take accountability for the performance, management, and development of Alliance staff under your supervision.
