ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has become available for a newly created role for a motivated, self-driven Senior Human Resource Advisor to join My Guardian.
This a full-time role based in our Head Office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Coordinating job vacancy advertisements, conducting applicant assessments and interviews, and managing the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Managing employee records and overseeing the operation of human resources information systems (HRIS).
  • Advising management on workplace relations matters, including HR policies, employee performance issues, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Organising employee onboarding programs and providing guidance on employment terms, remuneration, and career advancement pathways.
  • Sharing up-to-date information on available job openings with employers and prospective candidates.
  • Engaging in discussions to establish employment terms and addressing employee concerns, conflicts, or disputes.
  • Analysing and applying employment legislation, industrial awards, enterprise agreements, and contract terms, including payment systems and conflict resolution protocols.
  • Supervising the setup and operation of employee consultation forums and initiatives aimed at increasing staff engagement and participation.
