About this role The Senior HR Business Partner aligns business objectives with employee and management needs for designated functional groups. The role delivers value‑added support that contributes to an engaged and productive workforce. It provides guidance across human resource areas including employee relations, onboarding, policy interpretation, compliance, compensation, benefits, and development. The position works closely with leaders and employees to enhance workplace relationships and foster a positive culture. It also supports day‑to‑day and strategic HR activities to ensure consistent and effective HR practices. Additional Details **Seeking HRBP Candidates in Central/Northern CA** What you bring to the table Education BA/BS in Business, Human Resources, or a related field Experience Minimum of 3 years’ experience in human resources management/partner role Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, HRIS applications and Internet applications Corrections and/or Healthcare industry experience is a plus Licenses/Certifications PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred What you will do Provides guidance, counseling, and policy interpretation while identifying issues in HR practices and recommending improvements. Advises managers on employee relations matters and conducts thorough investigations when issues arise. Partners with management to identify training, coaching, and development needs and collaborates on appropriate solutions. Works with leaders and employees to improve relationships, morale, productivity, retention, and alignment with company culture. Delivers ongoing performance management guidance, including coaching, counseling, career development, and performance improvement.
