Why this role? You’ll play a pivotal role in embedding and leading the organisation’s HRBP model, ensuring its effective development, implementation, and measurement. This role will oversee a team of HR Business Partners and an HR Project & Data Manager and Project Officer, ensuring the alignment of HR strategy with organisational transformation priorities.
Acting as the Deputy to the Head of HR and OD, you will drive cultural change, champion workforce transformation, and lead strategic HR projects that enable an agile, high-performing, and inclusive workforce.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence and shape the organisation’s future, ensuring that HR is at the forefront of transformation and operational excellence.
Why you? Are you a strategic thinker, an advocate for change and a people-focused leader who can help us achieve our goals? Are you collaborative, and a data-driven decision maker and agile problem-solver? Do you thrive on challenge and are you passionate about delivering cultural change, with an eye on operational delivery of the best possible HR service around?
If this excites you, then please apply so you can tell us why you’d be a great fit. There’s more information about success criteria in the job description, but if you feel more context on the role would be helpful then please contact Kay Howick, Head of Human Resources and Organisational Development, at kay.howick@westofengland-ca.gov.uk
What’s next? We are planning for interviews to be held on at our offices on Thursday 05 June. Although we’ll avoid it, this may have to change.
