  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Masters degree in HR Management a plus)

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years professional HR experience (experience in generalist, specialist, and client-facing roles preferred)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced Digital & Technology organization / start-up experience would be beneficial
  • Significant Operating model & organizational design experience
  • Significant experience of program delivery and agile methodology. Ability to deliver solutions for the business with pace & nimbleness.
  • Confident in challenging the status quo
  • Change Management/people transformation and cultural change experience, including the coaching & providing leadership through the cultural change.
  • Comfortable in owning a complex resourcing mix and associated financials including opex and capex resource
  • Experience & passion for agile ways of working
  • Demonstrated ability to consult, influence and partner with senior leaders in developing/executing people strategies to drive business performance
  • Possesses strong business and financial acumen
  • Demonstrated success resolving complex HR issues. Has a working knowledge of employment law for the largest countries in which Alight operates and current HR trends; ability to use such knowledge proactively in consulting with clients.
  • Ability to anticipate changes required within the business and to drive such changes in partnership with business leaders
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, especially with senior level leaders
  • Knowledge and experience using Workday (desirable but not required)
  • Ability to facilitate training sessions virtually and in person for both managerial and leadership audiences

Responsibilities
  • People Strategy: Support the leadership team to provide strategic HR direction to their teams.
  • Operating Model: Working with Senior leaders or their teams on the simplification of the operating model to transform the people related cost base and create an organization that is agile, fast- paced and able to respond.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Work with leaders to create a fully diverse, engaged and unified organization, leveraging all types of cultural difference, emphasizing the importance of the Employee Experience and championing Alight’s values
  • Next Generation Skills and Location Strategy: ensure units have the right skills in the right place, at the right time by supporting the development of a fully integrated strategic workforce plan that suits agile ways of working and future needs.
  • Resourcing & Reward decisions, policies and processes: Provide business insight to Centres of Expertise, HR Services and the business to drive continuous improvement in Alight’s HR strategy, policy, services and processes into the line of business. Support the business with a resourcing mix that is flexible and a reward model to suit growth and highly competitive industry.
  • HR Effectiveness: Work with the broader HR team, its ways of working and skills to deliver the people plan and strategy. Focus on development of self and the broader team, championing a culture of self-directed learning & development. Leading on upskilling pathways to support internal career opportunities and talent development Team. Closely collaborate with Centers of Expertise (COEs), including Integrated Talent Development, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition and HR Operations to provide inputs while also collaborating with other HRBPs to look for synergies and cross-functional alignment and support.
  • High performing Teams: Support the business to develop strategic imperatives including a pro-active Talent agenda in order to ensure retention of key employees, developing leadership succession plans, raising people leader capability, performance and overall healthy churn.
  • Critical HR Execution and Implementation: Develops broad understanding of all Alight HR Programs and is responsible for execution of all major HR initiatives within the Product and Technology groups on both an annual and ad-hoc basis. This includes:
  • Annual Pay Review Cycle(s);
  • Continuous Performance Planning Process and Effectiveness
  • Talent Management Review and Outcomes
  • Promotion Process and Review
  • Quarterly Engagement Analysis, Review and Action Planning
  • Implementation of any new or updated HR initiatives
  • Workforce Planning Initiatives
  • Liaison between Business and HR Connect (North America) and Local HR (Rest of World)
