KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Masters degree in HR Management a plus)
- Thinks and acts commercially & with the customer in mind: strong analytical skills, and commercial awareness. Curious to understand and remain close to the business agenda, as well as applying a customer centric lens, in order to influence the people strategy. Comfortable interpreting and analyzing data to drive insight led decisions

- Track record of making change happen in a complex environment, with evidenced RoI: self starting, can initiate change and be a bold decision maker to improve the business and HR function. Develops simple, practical, pragmatic solutions to address business needs, aligned to business strategy. Solutions focused achiever & change agent.
- Handles complex and difficult situations with thought and confidence: role models honest and respectful feedback. Can adapt personal style and be an inspiring communicator to manage multiple stakeholders who may be geographically dispersed.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years professional HR experience (experience in generalist, specialist, and client-facing roles preferred)
- Experience working in a fast-paced Digital & Technology organization / start-up experience would be beneficial
- Significant Operating model & organizational design experience
- Significant experience of program delivery and agile methodology. Ability to deliver solutions for the business with pace & nimbleness.
- Confident in challenging the status quo
- Change Management/people transformation and cultural change experience, including the coaching & providing leadership through the cultural change.
- Comfortable in owning a complex resourcing mix and associated financials including opex and capex resource
- Experience & passion for agile ways of working
- Demonstrated ability to consult, influence and partner with senior leaders in developing/executing people strategies to drive business performance
- Possesses strong business and financial acumen
- Demonstrated success resolving complex HR issues. Has a working knowledge of employment law for the largest countries in which Alight operates and current HR trends; ability to use such knowledge proactively in consulting with clients.
- Ability to anticipate changes required within the business and to drive such changes in partnership with business leaders
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills, especially with senior level leaders
- Knowledge and experience using Workday (desirable but not required)
- Ability to facilitate training sessions virtually and in person for both managerial and leadership audiences
