Join our dynamic team and be a part of shaping the future of connectivity! The Senior HR Director will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CFO. You will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational execution of all human resources functions. Your mission is to evolve our "small-town" culture into a scalable, high-performing organization while maintaining the core values of Respect, Advocacy, Transparency, Progress, and Winning. This role will be located onsite in Columbia, MO. What You’ll Do Key responsibilities include: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute an HR strategy that supports Socket’s rapid expansion across Missouri and Kansas. Culture & Engagement: Champion a positive workplace culture. You will lead initiatives to improve employee morale, internal communication, and staff engagement. Talent Acquisition & Retention: Oversee the recruitment lifecycle to attract top-tier technical and sales talent. Implement competitive retention strategies to keep our "family" together. Compensation & Benefits: Evaluate and modernize our benefits packages (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k) to ensure they are competitive and sustainable. Performance Management: Design and lead the performance review cycle, focusing on goal setting, coaching, and professional development. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure 100% compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Manage employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution with high integrity. Professional Development: Manage tuition reimbursement and certification programs to foster continuous learning and career advancement for our team. What We’re Looking For To be considered for this role, you'll need the following required qualifications: Experience: 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role: Proven experience in driving innovation, change management, performance and compensation management and the full recruitment lifecycle strategy. Must have experience partnering with executive leadership to carry out people strategies aligning with vision, mission and values. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred however not required. Skills: Expertise in HRIS systems and data-driven decision-making. Proven ability to manage change in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong interpersonal skills—equally comfortable in the boardroom and on the warehouse floor. Local Focus: Must be located in or near Columbia, MO and may be required to visit additional Socket Fiber Office locations (up to 20%). Why Join Socket Fiber?
