JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Human Resource Executive, Resourcing (HRR) holds a crucial role in teacher selection, scheduling, deployment and training. The scope of this role includes coordination, involving active engagement with teachers, providing feedback on lessons, sourcing relief teachers, and ensuring accurate compensation for part-time teachers. The Senior HRR Executive plays a key part in fostering a positive academic environment and enhancing the overall teaching experience.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Diploma and above in a relevant field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem analysis and resolution skills.
  • Adaptable and open to new ideas.
  • Able to coach and guide new staff.
  • Team player with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Word & Excel.
  • Familiarity with teacher recruitment processes, scheduling, and academic staff administration.
  • Demonstrated success in providing constructive feedback to teachers and managing administrative tasks related to academic staff.

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least three (3) years of administrative or human resources experience.
  • Candidates with prior teaching experience and academic administration roles would be preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Scheduling & Deployment:
  • Develop and refine the master schedule for teacher deployment, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with academic leadership to strategically assign teachers based on qualifications and class requirements.
  • Liaison with Teachers and Centre:
  • Maintain open and constructive communication channels with teaching staff.
  • Address concerns, facilitate a positive work environment, and act as a bridge between teachers and center management.
  • Teacher-Related Administration:
  • Lead teacher onboarding and orientation processes, ensuring a seamless assimilation into the academic community.
  • Manage comprehensive documentation related to teacher contracts, certifications, and other administrative matters.
  • Lesson Observation and Feedback:
  • Conduct regular and targeted observations of lessons conducted by teachers.
  • Provide detailed and constructive feedback to enhance teaching methodologies and improve overall classroom effectiveness.
  • Relief Teacher Sourcing:
  • Take a proactive role in sourcing and coordinating relief teachers for unforeseen emergencies or planned major events.
  • Ensure the smooth continuity of classes and minimize disruptions to the academic schedule.
  • Part-Time Teacher Compensation:
  • Ensure the accurate and timely payment of part-time teachers, adhering to compensation rates for various class sizes.
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation related to part-time teacher compensation.
  • Coaching and Guiding:
  • Guide or coach a new staff to do the work of a Teacher Relations Ambassador.
  • Review and provide feedback to new staff on their performance.
