Job Details Job Location: INDIANAPOLIS, IN 46205 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Bachelor Degree Job Category: Human Resources Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing HR functions, supporting employee development, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. This position requires a strong understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment and Onboarding: Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions. Oversee onboarding of employees from entry into HRIS through transition to hiring manager Partner with HR Director to identify opportunities for continuous improvement to the onboarding experience. Employee Relations: Serves as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Provides guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution. Conducts thorough investigations and recommends appropriate action. Lead/Coordinate employee events Lead benefits open enrollment Conduct exit interviews and provide metrics on findings Training and Performance Management: Support succession planning and talent management initiatives Assist managers in developing performance improvement plans when necessary. Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs. Facilitate workshops and training sessions. HR Systems, Compliance and Policy Management: Subject matter expert for PAYCOM HRIS Maintain employee data within PAYCOM HRIS to ensure compliance standards are upheld Run audit reports to verify data integrity Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures. Prepare reports on HR metrics, such as turnover and retention rates. Immigration: Assist in preparing and submitting the required paperwork Ensure immigration compliance Other: Lead or participate in various HR projects and initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve HR processes and employee engagement. Will serve as backup to payroll processor (Paycom) Provide guidance and/or instruct other HR team members Qualifications Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field e.g. (Human Resources Management; Business Administration) or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field. Experience: 4+ years of experience in HR or related roles Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills Proven understanding of HR best practices and multi-state employment laws Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills High degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidential information Previous experience and competencies with PAYCOM HRIS including configuration, permissions, and user admin functions Competencies: Maintain and protect confidential information Ability to produce timely and accurate work Communicate accurate information in a clear and concise manner Possess a high degree of accuracy and organizational ability Build and maintain relationships and mentor others Display exceptional written and verbal communication skills and possess strong listening skills Ability to work with diverse population; exceptional interpersonal skills with employees at all levels of the organization Dedicated to customer service and continuous improvements Work Environment: Corporate office setting.
