Role: Senior HR Generalist, East Coast As Ambient’s newest Senior HR Generalist, you will have a crucial role in the operations of the subsidiaries on the East Coast. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing core HR functions while serving as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership. This position combines strategic HR partnership with hands-on operational responsibilities to ensure compliance, foster employee engagement, and support organizational growth. Responsibilities: Provide counsel and support to managers on HR policy application and employee relations issues. Investigate and resolve workplace disputes, ensuring fair and consistent practices. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws (ADA, FMLA, FLSA). Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals. Lead HR projects such as culture-building programs and organizational development. Partner with managers to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding experiences for employees. Support managers in conducting performance appraisals and setting development plans. Partner with leadership on change management and workforce planning. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in a human resources role, preferably with experience in onboarding, development, and employee relations. Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (Workday preferred). Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulation Estimated Salary: $120, 000 - $140,000 with flexibility depending on experience.
