This includes all parts of the employee lifecycle of hiring, onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee experience, and offboarding.   The Team: You'd be joining the People Operations team of 3. We are lean, effective, and focused on ensuring our values are embedded in how we support our staff who do the day to day work of forwarding our mission.   What you’ll do: We are looking for a proactive, scrappy, detail and results-oriented Senior Generalist to improve and execute core operations systems, processes and products. We are searching for someone with a proven track record of rolling up their sleeves to identify, correct and improve existing HR systems and processes. This individual will co-own fundamental generalist responsibilities with a focus on executing payroll correctly and timely in our current HCM (Paycor), ensuring we are compliant across all state, federal, and local regions we staff, and fostering a world-class people operations relationship with staff.   This role reports into the People Operations Director and is not expected to travel. This position is based in Denver with an expectation to come into the office 3 times a week.   Your Day to Day   HR Generalist * Process semi-monthly and any special payroll accurately and timely. * Provide operational excellence with our HCM, Paycor for maximum People Ops & Staff. * Audit, correct, and maintain federal, state and employment compliance. * Partner with 3rd party vendors and state agencies to establish and correctly register tax accounts, unemployment accounts, and any other contribution or deductions. * Support Open Enrollment and general benefits staff inquiries. * Support and manage leaves of absence and ADA cases. * Advise and support team leaders on various topics, including employment law and government regulations, performance management, team morale, and various policies (e.g., FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, etc.) * Support Director of People Operations with Employee Relations & Investigations * Appropriately resolve or escalate complaints and concerns.     HR Operations * Audit, improve and manage people operations electronic filing systems. * EG: Personnel data, handbooks, how-to-guides * Support training and professional development activities such as handling course meeting logistics and preparation * Mentor and support HR Associates. * Prepare internal employee communications for a variety of HR functions * Manage and ensure knowledge and resources for the organization regarding employee calendar: holidays, events, open enrollment * ATS and Data Management. * Own pre-start date onboarding process: data collection, IT set up, and orientation schedule. * Provide top notch 1st Day experience while ensuring 30/60/90 day plans are developed and executed.   Note: This position description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties.
