QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on tech companies (experience in startups is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of labor laws across the EU, with expertise in Ireland, France, and Germany.
• Proven experience in managing HR processes across multiple countries and cultures.
• Experience in engineering recruitment, with a deep understanding of the tech talent market.
• Exposure to AI recruitment or related technologies is a plus.
• Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to thrive in a high-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of ambiguity.
• A go-getter with a results-driven mindset—someone who can make decisions with limited information and drive change.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As we continue our year-on-year headcount growth, we are looking for a Senior HR Generalist to help us scale our people and talent operations across Ireland and the wider EMEA region, including France and Germany. This is a solo HR role for the region with close collaboration with the US HQ and the APAC team. You will play a key part in shaping Sonatus’ people strategy, ensuring compliance, and helping us grow the team and build a world-class employee experience.
Please note: this is a hybrid office work arrangement – work from the office in Dublin 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• People Operations: Oversee day-to-day HR operations for Ireland and support the broader EMEA region, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations in partnership with legal teams.
• Talent Acquisition: Execute recruiting strategies to fill both technical and non-technical roles across the EMEA region. Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and offers, ensuring the best candidates are identified and hired.
• Global People Programs: Support the implementation and execution of global People programs such as performance management, salary reviews, employee recognition, and retention programs across the region.
• Onboarding/Offboarding: Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding new hires and conducting offboarding for exiting employees.
• Payroll & Benefits: Partner with finance and benefits teams to ensure accurate payroll processing, as well as administering employee benefit programs.
• Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
