Overview

Responsibilities

You will play a critical role in defining and executing our people initiatives with the overall goal of engaging, developing and retaining the best talent for the organization. You will mentor and grow our DACH HR generalists and business partners to deliver on the following core responsibilities:

  • Business partner with the leadership team of the region, driving initiatives and supporting business delivery
  • Support and drive regional and global HR objectives
  • Support the successful integration and restructure of acquired businesses
  • Engage in due diligence efforts related to acquisitions
  • Utilize people metrics to drive key insights and decisions around engagement and retention
  • Utilizing a deep knowledge of employment law in the countries assigned, work with country work councils to enable the uptake and support of people programs
  • Manage talent review and succession planning programs to guide the identification, investment in and the development of our people
  • Counsel, coach and drive leaders/ managers on talent issues including performance management, high potential employee identification, and poor performer reduction
  • Work closely with all stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business in order to support it effectively
  • Partner with legal department to conduct confidential investigations into employee complaints and sensitive work-related issues, and act as an escalation point for employee conflicts and compliance issues
  • Monitor and review employment processes, policies and procedures to ensure alignment to Company’s goals and business objectives and maintain compliance with all federal, state and international employment laws
  • Prepare, update, and recommend human resource policies and procedures.
