THIS IS YOUR DAILY ACTION

The HRIS Expert is part of the HR Projects, Processes and System department and reports directly into the Team Lead Business Support. The overall focus of the HRIS Business Support role is to provide a consistent and correct working of (a) specific HR application(s) for all Action countries. Together with your colleagues you ensure that the HR application landscape is stable and continuously improved. Additionally, you secure a proper communication and good stakeholder management. You act as the main contact for IT, HR, Country HR teams, HR Admin Teams and other departments for your application. You are a front runner for your HR application, and you have an all-time overview about changes and application-updates. Besides that, you are constantly looking for improvements and you bring in ideas on how to make the day-to-day better for employees, managers, and HR colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiates, manages and contributes to continuous improvement and (small) projects.
  • Identifies, resolves and escalates (possible) bottlenecks within HR applications and the own process areas (incident management).
  • Manages small HRIS system-based projects and ensures the correct introduction and implementation of new and enhanced functionality.
  • Manages system changes in collaboration with IT for the applications in scope.
  • Coaches and trains team members within the team.
  • Challenges, sets up and applies country specific rulings provided by HR experts and country HR management, and acts as functional lead for rolling out SuccessFactors in a new country
  • Critically reviews and analyzes (new) functionality and incidents to recommend, develop and implement changes leading to best-practice operations
