ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
- Degree/Diploma or equivalent in HSE related subject
- 4 to 10 years experience within the Energy Industry through all phases of EPCI project delivery
- Functional, business, industry and supervisory expertise
- Ability to work as a team member as well as act as team leader
- Have wide experience with technical activities, including onshore and offshore operations
- Maintain key competencies associated with the HSES function
- Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
- Be conversant with local and international HSES laws, codes, regulations and norms
Responsibilities:
- Familiarization with all company and project specific HSES terms, requirements and project deliverables
- Identification of applicable regulatory requirements specific to the scope of work including monitoring compliance
- Ensuring HSES plans, procedures and instructions are implemented
- Facilitation of project HAZID’s and other risk reviews
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of Project Risk Register and Corrective Action Tracking
- Assist in HSES Prequalification of project subcontractors and vendors as applicable
- Assist in preparation of project HSES audit plans and conducting of audits
- Conducting reviews and audits of vessels, and facilities
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of Project HSES Activity Plans
- Overseeing developed plans to meet project Objectives, Targets and Goals aligned to the Business Line
- Leading or participating in Incident Investigations and reporting as applicable
- Conduct regular site or facility reviews
- Other duties connected with the HSES function, as directed by Supervisor or Manager, HSES
- Actively participate in all QHSES Initiatives and Programs
