ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

  • Degree/Diploma or equivalent in HSE related subject
  • 4 to 10 years experience within the Energy Industry through all phases of EPCI project delivery
  • Functional, business, industry and supervisory expertise
  • Ability to work as a team member as well as act as team leader
  • Have wide experience with technical activities, including onshore and offshore operations
  • Maintain key competencies associated with the HSES function
  • Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
  • Be conversant with local and international HSES laws, codes, regulations and norms

Responsibilities:

  • Familiarization with all company and project specific HSES terms, requirements and project deliverables
  • Identification of applicable regulatory requirements specific to the scope of work including monitoring compliance
  • Ensuring HSES plans, procedures and instructions are implemented
  • Facilitation of project HAZID’s and other risk reviews
  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of Project Risk Register and Corrective Action Tracking
  • Assist in HSES Prequalification of project subcontractors and vendors as applicable
  • Assist in preparation of project HSES audit plans and conducting of audits
  • Conducting reviews and audits of vessels, and facilities
  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of Project HSES Activity Plans
  • Overseeing developed plans to meet project Objectives, Targets and Goals aligned to the Business Line
  • Leading or participating in Incident Investigations and reporting as applicable
  • Conduct regular site or facility reviews
  • Other duties connected with the HSES function, as directed by Supervisor or Manager, HSES
  • Actively participate in all QHSES Initiatives and Programs
