An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR advisor within our divisional People and Organisational Development team.
The Senior HR Advisor role will work closely with ER specialist, Associate HR Business partner and People Business Partner to support the delivery of a professional HR service to their areas. This role is for the Divisional cluster of Medicine and Integrated Care, including Finance and Communications. A key function of the role is to advise managers on employee relations matters, with a focus on developing the skill and capacity of managers to empower them to manage people issues effectively and independently.
AS OUTLINED IN THE PERSON SPECIFICATION, YOU WILL NEED TO:
Have proven employee relations experience and an understanding of employment law.
Have excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to work with all levels of staff, providing comprehensive advice to develop and empower managers.
Be able to demonstrate how you have used analytical skills to highlight issues and areas of concern to improve performance.

A key function of the role is to develop the skill and capacity of managers to empower them to manage people issues effectively and independently. The Senior HR Adviser is a member of P&OD and plays a key role in supporting the review, development and implementation of workforce policies, procedures, tools, training and quality improvement systems.
Your office will be mainly based at St Mary’s Hospital which is situated in the heart of Paddington, West London. This role will have a mix of working at the office and from home, with some working across our other hospital sites, as required.
