Your Role: Treasure Data is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to work closely with leadership and our Employee Experience team to help support our teams in NAM and EMEA. This position will work closely to support the specific needs of the group’s employees while working strategically on all Employee Experience programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in the startup environment, is very hands on, naturally curious and highly collaborative. Responsibilities: Partner with the Go To Market business unit and ensure a deep understanding of business strategy and implement high-quality HR practices within the team. Expert level experience with HR guidance, including talent development, performance management, organizational design, employee relations, workforce planning and succession planning Proactively assess team and employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions. Manage employee disciplinary issues, conduct investigations and provide advice to business leaders on ways to manage each case. Influence and shape change agenda and business transformation, including organization and structural changes; identify obstacles and develop strategies to overcome them Integrate and partner with HR colleagues in Talent Operations, Compensation & Benefits, HRIS, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Facilities and other teams to implement solutions. Shepherd strategic programs such as annual performance reviews, talent reviews and merit cycles and drive change management across teams Help drive employee engagement across the organization and be an ambassador of Treasure Data’s culture Can drive complex issues and initiatives to positive outcomes across the organization Ability to analyze data, metrics and trends to drive strategic solutions to the business Switch from strategic to tactical projects with minimal oversight Drive and champion learning and development initiatives aligned with business priorities. Supports work that affects long range planning and is considered a mentor to those on the EX team and in client groups Ensure adherence to labor laws and internal HR policies Proactively engage with and leverage new AI/ML tools and platforms to drive HR strategies Use AI-powered tools like Glean to quickly surface relevant policies, precedents, and employee information to inform decision-making and respond to inquiries Leverage AI assistants to draft communications, analyze employee feedback themes, and synthesize data from multiple sources for leadership reporting Apply AI tools to streamline administrative tasks such as documentation, meeting summaries, and onboarding material preparation Experiment with emerging AI technologies to enhance HR program delivery, improve employee experience, and identify process improvements Willingness to own projects directly or adjacent to your day to day responsibilities Be the trusted on-site HR strategic partner and the face of EX in the London office Own onboarding logistics, including documentation, workspace setup, and first-day details Manage day-to-day office operations, including ordering and maintaining office supplies, snacks, and equipment Help plan and execute in-office and virtual events (e.g., all-hands, team offsites, cultural events, celebrations) Job Requirements: 8+ years HRBP experience working in tech companies Has scaled programs and processes in an accelerated growth phase Thrives in a fast-paced and action-oriented environment; can comfortably operate in ambiguity with minimal guidance Experience with performance management, employee relations and data analytics/reporting. Demonstrated project management and change management experience and ability to drive programs independently. Analytical and data management skills with experience translating data into action planning. Exceptional listening and communication skills with experience building relationships at all levels of the organization. Strong desire to help others and intellectual curiosity about people and organization issues Has general knowledge and understanding of employment laws in NAM and EMEA Can operate at tactical and strategic levels with sound business judgment.
