Boeing Commercial Airplanes’ (BCA) Human Resources (HR) Manufacturing, Safety and Total Quality organization is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in North Charleston, SC.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, inclusive HR team at Boeing. By partnering with senior executives, managers, and employees, you will have a critical role in driving business value, a best-in-class employee experience and effective delivery of HR programs, services and support in the following key areas:

The position will play a key role in supporting the transformation in our production systems and the HR function’s objective to provide world class HR service and employee experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 3+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes
  • 3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
  • 3+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement
  • 3+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives
  • 1+ years of experience leading teams either formally or informally in a Human Resources role
  • Human Resources certification
  • Collaboration across organizational boundaries to deliver an integrated final product
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, high-impact communication style
  • Experience with manufacturing hourly and union workforce

TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with the Manufacturing, Safety and Quality Function and leadership team
  • Provide visible HR presence where our employees work to enable real time engagement and solutions
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of equity, diversity & inclusion where employee experience is at the center of HR service delivery
  • Aid in supporting the delivery of key HR processes (e.g. performance support, employee movement, leadership coaching, etc.)
  • Develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation
  • Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives
  • Communicate with HR peers and leaders on site activities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and HR peers supporting the transformation of our production systems
