This role partners closely with leadership and union representatives to manage employee relations, payroll compliance, and HR system administration (Paycom). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and thrives in a high-accountability environment focused on accuracy, compliance, and employee engagement. Qualifications Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned departments, supporting employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation. Partner with union leadership to maintain positive labor relations and ensure adherence to the collective bargaining agreement. Oversee payroll compliance, ensuring accurate timekeeping, wage calculations, and adherence to federal, state, and contractual requirements. Act as the HR system specialist for Paycom—manage data accuracy, workflows, reporting, and user training. Support full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and employee development initiatives. Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO). Track and report HR metrics, drive process improvements, and support site-wide engagement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. 5+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing; union experience strongly preferred. Experience with Paycom or similar HRIS required. Solid knowledge of employment law, payroll compliance, and HR operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification a plus. Why Join Us?
