  • Our client is a consumer goods business with manufacturing and commercial operations. As the business grows, it needs greater consistency in how people are hired, managed, developed and held accountable.We are looking for a Senior HR Manager who knows how to put that structure in place while staying close to the business.The RoleYou will have responsibility across hiring, performance management, employee relations, compensation, policies, compliance and workforce planning.A large part of the job is getting the fundamentals working properly and consistently.You will:Review HR policies, processes and documentation and close gaps that create legal or operational risk.
  • Run the performance management cycle, including objectives, reviews, calibration and follow-through.
  • Help managers deal with performance and employee issues early, fairly and with proper documentation.
  • Improve hiring for critical roles, with greater attention to quality, fit and retention.
  • Work with business heads on manpower requirements, organization structure and succession.
  • Understand where attrition is hurting the business and address the causes rather than simply replacing people.
  • Manage employee relations cases through to resolution.
  • Review compensation structures and internal consistency as the organization grows.
  • Track the HR numbers that management needs to see, including hiring, vacancies, attrition, performance issues, manpower costs and areas of risk.
  • Give management a clear monthly view of what requires attention and what action is being taken.
