Description
  • Review HR policies, processes and documentation and close gaps that create legal or operational risk.
  • Run the performance management cycle, including objectives, reviews, calibration and follow-through.
  • Help managers deal with performance and employee issues early, fairly and with proper documentation.
  • Improve hiring for critical roles, with greater attention to quality, fit and retention.
  • Work with business heads on manpower requirements, organization structure and succession.
  • Understand where attrition is hurting the business and address the causes rather than simply replacing people.
  • Manage employee relations cases through to resolution.
  • Review compensation structures and internal consistency as the organization grows.
  • Track the HR numbers that management needs to see, including hiring, vacancies, attrition, performance issues, manpower costs and areas of risk.
  • Give management a clear monthly view of what requires attention and what action is being taken.

Must-Have

  • 15+ years in HR, including 3 to 5 years leading an HR function or substantial business unit.
  • Experience supporting both manufacturing and commercial teams, preferably within food, FMCG or another consumer business.
  • GCC experience is essential.
  • Good working knowledge of UAE employment legislation and HR compliance.
  • Experience across employee relations, performance management, recruitment and compensation.
  • Comfortable dealing directly with senior management and line managers.
  • Able to make a call when the answer will not please everyone.
  • Practical enough to know when a process protects the business and when it is simply adding another layer.

We are looking for an HR leader who brings clarity, consistency and judgement to the business and can show where better HR discipline has improved performance, retention or management accountability.
