Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior HVAC Engineer for site supervision project in Kuwait. This role is crucial in overseeing the installation and maintenance of HVAC systems for our projects in the region. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience and technical expertise to ensure efficient and high-quality HVAC implementations. Supervise on-site HVAC installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations Collaborate with project team, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines Review and approve HVAC system designs, drawings, and technical submittals Perform energy modeling and analysis to optimize HVAC system performance and efficiency Develop and implement quality control procedures for HVAC installations Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians Prepare detailed reports on project progress, issues, and resolutions Ensure adherence to local building codes and regulations specific to Kuwait Participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements and address concerns Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Valid membership with the Kuwait Society Engineers (KSE) Minimum 15 years of experience in HVAC engineering including of 2 years as senior HVAC engineer with a focus on site supervision projects Proven expertise in HVAC systems design, installation, and troubleshooting for commercial and industrial buildings Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software Experience with energy modeling software and energy efficiency practices In-depth knowledge of building codes and regulations, particularly those applicable in Kuwait Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex HVAC challenges Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements Willingness to work on-site in various locations throughout Kuwait City and surrounding areas Business Line: Energy and Sustainable Cities Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: General Engineering Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Site Supervision Profession: Construction Supervision and Surveying
