Job Description About the Role We have opportunities for senior Mechanical Engineers to join our team. As a member of our team, you will work on diverse international projects ranging from large-scale master plans to individual buildings. We pride ourselves on bringing innovative design solutions for multicultural projects with economic and social integrity. You will be responsible for producing high-quality designs, maintaining client briefs, conducting thorough research into design briefs and subject matter and producing sketches and diagrams to communicate design options effectively. Responsibilities: Produce high-quality design work in line with Omrania’s philosophy Ownership and responsibility for maintaining the client brief Thorough research into the design brief and subject matter Produce options and diagrams to effectively communicate the design options opportunities challenges that clients need to be aware of Deliver designs effectively in a timely manner Mentor junior members of the staff Qualifications A degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university Minimum of 6 years professional experience Design-focused producing design solutions on your own or under guidance Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication presentation skills Strong modelling and post-production skills Sound knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and 3ds Max Experience within a tier one Engineering practice working on international projects ideally gained in the Middle East would be highly beneficial Business Line: Energy and Sustainable Cities Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: Buildings Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Technical Engineering Profession: Lead Engineer II
