We Are Hiring! We are expanding our engineering team. We are looking for motivated professionals to support HVAC engineering activities within international railway projects, contributing to the design, integration, validation, and optimization of onboard heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across rolling stock platforms. You will play an important role in coordinating technical activities between engineering teams, suppliers, testing teams, and project stakeholders, supporting the successful delivery of railway systems in compliance with technical, safety, quality, environmental, and customer requirements. Your Responsibilities Lead the design and development of HVAC systems for railway rolling stock. Define technical specifications and performance requirements for HVAC components and subsystems. Perform thermodynamic calculations, airflow analysis, and energy efficiency assessments. Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and control teams to ensure proper system integration. Support suppliers in design, qualification, and testing of HVAC units. Prepare and review technical documentation including system schematics, interface control documents, and validation plans. Participate in verification, validation, and certification processes according to EN 14750 and EN 14813 standards. Conduct root cause analysis and support troubleshooting during commissioning and maintenance phases. Ensure that design solutions meet project timelines, budget, and quality standards. Your Profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC system design, preferably in the railway or transportation industry. Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and refrigeration cycles. Familiarity with railway standards (EN 14750, EN 14813, EN 50155). Experience with simulation tools (e.g. ANSYS, SolidWorks Flow Simulation, MATLAB). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
