SUMMARY

The Senior HVAC Technician plays a key role in maintaining, repairing, and modifying the equipment fleet, while also serving as a lead technician and mentor to the team. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives across technical practices, shop procedures, and team development. Additionally, the Senior HVAC Technician will assist shop and technical supervisors with various assigned tasks to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Install and remove air quality systems and HVAC equipment at project sites.
  • Perform maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, cooling, ground and air-source heat pumps, and refrigeration units.
  • Diagnose and repair/replacement of components such as filters, electrical motors, gas trains, bearings, belts, humidification systems, and moving parts; perform welding and lubrication as required.
  • Load, unload, deliver, and retrieve equipment and materials to and from project locations.
  • Maintain and repair electrical components of HVAC systems.
  • Inspect plumbing systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with environmental standards.
  • Review historical repair records to develop and implement effective inspection schedules.
  • Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment both in the shop and on job sites, promoting safe and efficient work
  • practices.
  • Train junior team members and participate in ongoing training and workshops to stay updated on HVAC industry advancements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, in line with the HVAC Technician role.
