Building Services | Sydney We are seeking a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join a high-performing Sydney Building Services team, stepping into a key role delivering a major mission-critical project while supporting a strong long-term project pipeline. This opportunity will suit a senior consultant who enjoys technical leadership, collaboration and meaningful project ownership, within a workplace that genuinely prioritises flexibility, trust and balance. The Role In this role, you will: • Lead the hydraulic design and delivery of a large-scale mission-critical project • Take end-to-end ownership of hydraulic design from concept through to construction • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers • Coordinate closely with other building services disciplines, architects and external consultants • Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and project stakeholders • Review designs, documentation and site works to ensure quality, compliance and constructability Once the initial project is complete, you will continue to contribute across a diverse portfolio of projects including health, education, defence, commercial, transport and data centres. This provides variety, continuity and long-term career stability. About You You will bring: • 7+ years’ experience as a Hydraulic Engineer within a building services consultancy • Proven experience delivering complex, large-scale projects • Strong technical capability and sound knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC and authority requirements • Confidence leading design packages and managing priorities across multiple stakeholders • Clear communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused approach • A desire to work in a supportive team where quality, people and balance genuinely matter Why You’ll Love Working Here This is a workplace that truly trusts and supports its people.
