Building Services | Brisbane We are seeking a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join a high-performing Brisbane Building Services team, stepping into a key role delivering a range of projects across multiple sectors, including transport, mission critical, defence and commercial. This opportunity will suit a senior consultant who enjoys technical leadership, collaboration and meaningful project ownership within a workplace that genuinely prioritises flexibility, trust and balance. The Role In this role, you will: • Lead the hydraulic design and delivery of projects across a diverse portfolio, including defence • Take end-to-end ownership of hydraulic design from concept through to construction • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developing engineers • Coordinate closely with other building services disciplines, architects and external consultants • Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and project stakeholders • Review designs, documentation and site works to ensure quality, compliance and constructability You will contribute across a varied project portfolio including health, education, defence, commercial and transport, offering strong project diversity and long-term career stability. About You Please note: Australian citizenship is required due to the nature of the projects. You will bring: • 6+ years’ experience as a Hydraulic Engineer within a building services consultancy • Proven experience delivering complex, large-scale projects • Strong technical capability and sound knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC and authority requirements • Confidence leading design packages and managing priorities across multiple stakeholders • Clear communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused approach • A desire to work in a supportive team where quality, people and balance genuinely matter Why You’ll Love Working Here This is a workplace that genuinely trusts and supports its people.
