Senior Hydraulic Engineer – Building Services   We’re looking for a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join our Building Services team and provide expert design, technical leadership and project delivery across a diverse range of building projects. This is a great opportunity for an experienced hydraulic engineering professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, leading project outcomes and helping deliver practical, sustainable solutions for clients. In this role, you’ll bring your technical expertise to hydraulic systems design and delivery, support multidisciplinary collaboration, contribute to high-quality reports and reviews, and help strengthen the capability of others across the team.  What you’ll do You’ll provide technical input and leadership across a broad range of building services projects, helping ensure designs are safe, compliant, sustainable and aligned with client expectations.  Your responsibilities will include: * Providing key technical expertise across hydraulic engineering projects. * Preparing high-level technical reports and reviewing medium-sized project reports.  * Applying safety in design processes across projects.  * Using and reviewing BIM models as part of project delivery.  * Leading medium-sized multidisciplinary projects and monitoring scope across multiple projects of varying size and complexity.  * Supporting bids, proposals and pursuits through strong technical and client-focused input. * Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.  * Contributing to quality, safety and OH&S systems, including auditing and supporting junior team members. * Sharing knowledge, coaching others and helping build technical capability across the business.    About you You’re an experienced hydraulic engineering professional who balances technical excellence with practical, client-focused delivery. You’re confident working across multiple projects, comfortable contributing to multidisciplinary environments, and know when to seek input while also taking ownership of outcomes. You’ll bring: * A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent.  * Typically 6–10 years’ relevant experience.  * Experience providing technical expertise across a broad range of projects.  * Demonstrated ability to apply safety in design processes.  * Experience preparing and reviewing technical reports.  * Experience leading medium-sized multidisciplinary projects and managing scope across multiple projects. * Working knowledge of BIM software and model review processes. * Experience applying relevant legislation, standards, guidelines and project specifications. * Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience supporting proposals and pursuits. * A collaborative mindset, with the ability to mentor others and contribute to a positive team culture.   Why WSP?
