Description
Knowledge and experience in conducting groundwater and contaminant hydrogeological assessments; feasibility studies; effective use of computer model applications; design and implementation of remediation programs and risk mitigation systems including for pump and treat; vapour extraction, chemical oxidation, etc. Knowledge and experience in environmental compliance and associated guidelines/legislation for provincial and federal requirements. Knowledge and experience working for clients in industrial, development and federal sectors. A proven ability to design and implement field programs; analyze data, write reports, provide quality control and assurance and present results to Clients; Excellence in communication and collaboration skills that facilitate detailed planning, timely decision-making and efficient implementation; Keen understanding and experience in working within a Behavior Based Safety System including development and use of Job Safety Analyses and performance of Job Observations; Valid driver's license required; Willing to travel to project sites and meetings as required. 10 plus years of professional experience preferred; Numerical groundwater modelling experience is considered an asset; Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in hydrogeological sciences or related Engineering discipline; Registered as a practicing member of the Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (P.Geo.) or Professional Engineers Ontario (P.Eng.) Ability to register in other Canadian provinces and territories is desirable.
