SLR Consulting is an international environmental consultancy with a globally recognised reputation for providing high quality tailored services. With offices throughout the Asia Pacific, Europe, North, Central and South America and Africa regions, we are one of a very small number of leading international specialist environmental consultancies. We have committed to being a Climate Neutral Business by 2030 and have a long-term commitment to align with global net zero ambitions.
The Hydrogeology and Hydrology (H&H) Technical Discipline, hosts over 55 people, making it one of the largest technical disciplines in SLR Australia. An opportunity exists to join this team, with over 35 hydrogeologists, as a Senior Consultant based in Melbourne.
We have a strong pipeline of work and a focus on technical excellence and strong client relationships. We are an active sponsor of the International Association of Hydrogeologists and focused on investing in industry best practice for the benefit of both clients and staff. We work in a collaborative environment across our H&H teams in Brisbane, Townsville, Newcastle, Wollongong, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and closely with other SLR environmental specialists. The team delivers projects across SLR’s market sectors including Mining & Minerals, Built Environment, Infrastructure, Industry and Power, with a focus on resource projects.
Your role would involve developing site hydrogeological conceptualisations, preparation of risk assessments to support project approvals, compliance reporting and a range of desk-based technical tasks. The opportunity exists to work on projects across Australia, with a wide variety of clients and project focus. Additionally, an element of field work, including supervision of groundwater bore installation, groundwater sampling and level monitoring programs, will be required.
