As a Senior IAM/IGA Consultant/Architect, you are the central technical and professional authority for demanding Identity & Access Management projects. You develop viable target architectures, guide complex transformation projects from the initial idea to productive implementation, and ensure that technical solutions, governance requirements, and customer processes are meaningfully integrated.

Your responsibilities in this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• You develop sophisticated IAM/IGA architectures based on software from leading manufacturers such as One Identity, SailPoint, Okta or OpenSource solutions, taking into account technical, organizational and regulatory requirements.
• You provide expert advice to clients at the management, departmental and architecture levels, translating strategic requirements, governance models and business processes into viable technical solutions.
• You will assume overall technical responsibility in complex IAM/IGA projects, make sound architectural decisions, and support project management and consulting teams with critical technical and professional issues.
• You will conduct requirements analysis workshops for our major clients, provide architecture and strategy consulting, create cross-manufacturer rough concepts and support our sales team in pre-sales.
• You monitor current developments in the IAM/IGA environment, assess their relevance for our customers, and strategically integrate suitable innovations into architecture and implementation projects.
• You will actively participate in our nationwide IAM community with over 60 colleagues, share your knowledge as a mentor, support consultants in their professional development, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our community through collaboration, mutual support, and the exchange of experiences. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to learn new things, gain inspiration, and develop both professionally and personally.

Your profile

• You have many years of experience in the field of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) or Identity & Access Management (IAM) and have already designed complex IAM/IGA architectures and successfully implemented them in enterprise environments.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of at least one leading IAM/IGA product such as One Identity Manager, SailPoint IIQ Okta or OpenSource solutions.
• You have in-depth knowledge of related technologies such as Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, SCIM, SOAP/REST APIs, databases, cloud platforms and software development.
• You are familiar with business processes, compliance and governance requirements, and can advise both technical and professional stakeholders.
• You present yourself confidently to customers, explain complex issues clearly, and communicate effectively with management, departments, and technical teams.
• You work in a structured, independent and solution-oriented manner, take responsibility and maintain an overview even in complex project situations.
