Description

At Tuatahi, we’re looking for a Senior ICT Engineer who thrives with enhancing and maintaining secure, high-performing digital infrastructure that supports meaningful connections across Aotearoa. This is a senior role where your experience in on premise & cloud infrastructure, system engineering support, and complex system/internal staff problem solving will directly contribute to the success and safety of our digital environment.
You’ll join our Digital Infrastructure team, where we work together to support our business and communities with reliable, future-ready connectivity. This is an opportunity to share your knowledge, contribute to continuous improvement, and grow alongside a team that values teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

We encourage applications from people with a variety of backgrounds. If you meet most, but not all, of the criteria—please apply. We’re committed to supporting your development.

  • 8+ years of experience in ICT engineering or network infrastructure roles in a medium or large organisation.
  • Strong understanding of Windows and Linux server platforms, Office 365, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, and cloud-hosted solutions.
  • Knowledge of firewalls, communication protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), and system security tools.
  • Proven ability to lead or support technical aspects of infrastructure projects.
  • Commitment to collaboration, clear communication, and inclusive teamwork.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, MCSE, or similar.

Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible) is an advantage.
