Join our dynamic team at Mackay Regional Council where innovation meets public service. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ICT Network Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, managing, and enhancing our ICT network infrastructure.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Qualification in Network Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology and or industry equivalent qualifications.
• Degree (preferred); or
• Diploma; or
• Lesser formal qualifications combined with significant relevant experience.
• Certifications in a relevant field such as HPE Aruba Networking, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, or similar will be desirable
• Extensive expertise in ICT infrastructure, project delivery, network security compliance, and supporting both on-premise and cloud solutions across diverse locations.
• Adaptability, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, critical thinking, independent problem-solving, and proficiency with corporate systems and Microsoft Office.
