Senior IDS Finance Officer     Location – Parramatta Employment type – Temporary full-time opportunity up to 11 months Grade – Clerk Grade 9/10 Salary – $129,464 pa - $142,665 pa plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.   Your role   An exciting opportunity for a finance professional to join the IDS Finance team and support DCJ’s budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. You’ll deliver high-quality financial analysis and advice that supports sound governance, compliance and informed decision-making. This role offers exposure to a complex government environment and the chance to make a meaningful impact on financial performance across the Department.   What you’ll do   As part of the IDS Finance team, you will:   Manage end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting with accuracy and compliance Analyse reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform strategic decisions Advise senior stakeholders on performance, savings, and risk mitigation Contribute to finance policies, standards, and governance improvements Build financial capability across business areas through guidance and support Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders for effective collaboration Manage a small team and provide coaching within the finance function   This role offers the opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, complex government environment while shaping meaningful financial outcomes.   What we’re looking for   We’re seeking a motivated and detail-focused finance professional ready to make an impact in a complex public sector environment.
